All phytoteas are divided into several categories:

The most important nutrients to increase the defense functions of the body are polyphenols and vitamins, which are found in each healing collection (for example, Mountain tea).

Remember that herbal tea provides a good therapeutic effect only when it is properly brewed and taken.

How to brew herbal tea?
Delicious and healthy tea is not always obtained. The best utensil for brewing tea is one that can maintain a constant temperature of the liquid for 20-25 minutes. Therefore, it is better to refuse from the usual metal and glass teapots.

The preparation of the tea recipe will be perfect with the help of:

  • double-bottomed porcelain teapots;

  • crockery;

  • thermos with a non-metallic flask;

  • siphon functioning on the principle of a water bath.

Be sure to warm the pot with steep boiling water before brewing. This will save more heat. The same rule applies to the cups from which you will drink the tea. Take phytotea at the rate of 1-1.5 teaspoons per one cup. After adding boiling water, the natural herbal tea will be ready in 5-20 minutes (depending on the ingredients).

The brewing methods are also different:

  • Infusion. Plant collection is poured with steep boiling water, wrapped with a cloth and left to steaming. The brew itself is not boiled. This option is ideal for drinks with fine components (small leaves, flowers).

  • Boiling. A good method for tea, which includes large and hard fractions (bark, roots, dense leaves, shoots, etc.). The dry mass is poured with warm water and brought to a boil on a low heat. Herbal tea should be tightly covered and left for another 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.

Collections for phytotea should be kept in a tightly closed container in a dark place. This will keep the mixture from being impregnated with foreign odors. By the way, herbal tea, unlike black or green tea, can be poured with boiling water again, but not earlier than 2-3 hours after the first brewing.

Choose carefully the water, because it directly affects the flavor. In order for phytotea to fully reveal its bouquet, use soft spring or artesian (bottled) water for brewing.

Herbal tea and pregnancy

  • fireweed is used to cope with insomnia;

  • mint and juniper tea is great for toxicity;

  • chamomile infusion has a calming effect;

  • phytotea with rosehip and sea buckthorn helps to strengthen the body and replenish vitamins.

Herbal tea with melissa, linden and mint is recommended for those women who have already given birth and are breastfeeding. It is tasty and healthful. In any case, before buying a healing herbal collection, consult your doctor. After all, both pregnant and breastfeeding women should approach nutritional issues with caution.

How to drink phytotea?

Herbal tea has certain patterns of use. According to the standard rules, it is drunk regularly for 2 weeks. Then a break is made for a week. Usually the drink is taken 2-3 times a day in the volume of 150-200 ml. It is better to take it 30-40 minutes before meals. To make the phytotea even tastier, it can be taken together with honey, candied fruits and dried fruits.

Herbal tea is better to drink no more than 3 weeks twice a day for preventive purposes and without medical advice.
